In'Joy Cafe

Redevelopment of a narrow shop house site into an urban café serving specialist coffee and gluten free fare.  This involved major reconstruction, including the creation of a covered internal courtyard to allow natural light within the deep interior.

The design aesthetic portrays a modern delicatessen; combining polished concrete and tile, glass block, dark oak accents and feature planting.   Seating zones provide options of indoor or outdoor, covered or open, hard or soft seating. A street-side quick service counter captures business from passing foot and bike traffic, while a children’s play area at the rear appeals to families.
